"I'm starting tomorrow"

I'm hoping I don't sound flakey, but I'll be starting my diet on Sunday (tomorrow is my birthday and I don't want to start trying to lose weight on a day I know ill be having cake, dinner out, etc and end up feeling discouraged). Right now I'm 179 and I would like to get to 155 by August's end.

I'm posting in this section because I'm looking for friends. I already like to exercise (mainly running and DVDs), it is the food I need help with and I would really like to make some friends so I don't have to tackle this daunting task on my own.
