apparently there will be an MMORPG released the day after christmas based on the series and the subsequent movie.

Wish they'd get their act together and bring it back! Maybe now that he's all famous from Castle, they'll give it another go when Castle dies. . .Here's hoping. . ..

They've just show the Halloween ep of Castle here in the UK & he starts the show wearing Mal's costume!:bigsmile:

I thought that Multiverse closed down and the Firefly & Buffy MMOs were cancelled as a result...Firefly code went somewhere else but the rights to the show weren't obtain. Is that outdated info? I hope it is.

EDIT2: It's unauthorized. That's no good. As someone whose job currently revolves around securing legal rights to use a television show in MMO format (yep, seriously), I have to wonder, how does this fall under "fair use?" Digging deeper, they seem to be saying, "we've reached out to Fox Legal many times and haven't heard back, so I think we're good," which just isn't true. You can't waste development time on an IP without securing legal use of the IP -- game development 101! >_< Sorry, folks, but this isn't going anywhere. I've seen how hard it is to secure legal use when you have the blessing of the publisher AND the company that owns the IP, so doing it without their blessing? No way. The fact that their trailer takes an antagonistic stance against Fox is not helping.

I to would rather see more Firefly than play a silly role play game! So very not into sitting onfront of my pc pretending to be someone else!! I do love the series though! But Mal is off playing Castle and Summer Glau is busy as well so I guess it just wont happen!! It is a great shame!

Was anyone else really upset they killed off Wash? And that we never found out about the preachers past?

I would love more episodes, not going to pin hopes on an MMO at this point because of legal issues and well, because of how bad some MMOs turn out no matter how good the IP.

Just waiting on Avengers now, one more month!
