Calories and Macros

I cant reach my calories per day without getting red numbers on my macros ! anyone in the same situation? I know, both are important but sometimes is overwhelming !! :( I hope to find a balance ! :)

    If your total calories are under I wouldn't worry too much about it. (Unless you're getting way to many simple carbs or you're diabetic) . Depending on who you talk to you'll see recommendations for carbs running anywhere from 40 to 65% of your daily calories, fats 20 to 30% and protein 10 to 30% - there seems to be a diversity of opinion........

    I have the same problem. I try to watch, particularly sodium, but in the end, i figure as long as i keep my calories down, i'm OK. I also find it hard sometimes to keep my protein up high enough. And my personal trainer suggests much higher levels of protein every day. Oh well. I try.

    Same here... I am usually over on protein and under (perhaps too low) on fat.
