Your top 5?

I'm sure there has been other posts like this, but I need a bit of motivation to get myself back on track, and I noticed some others are having trouble rebounding after the holiday. So I'm listing my Top 5 Reasons I Must Lose Weight. I'm posting it on my bathroom mirror so I can be reminded of it all throughout the day. I'll share first, but please post yours!

1. My wedding ring is too tight.
2. This picture ... (one my hubby took of me bowling over Memorial Day.) Ugh.
3. I cannot afford new clothes. Again.
4. Because I am tired of being too self-conscious to wear shorts at the ball field, a swimsuit at the beach, or lingerie in the bedroom.
5. Because I had my last baby 5 years ago.

    1. Because I don't want to die . 2. Because I don't want a fat induced disease. 3. Because I want to look how I feel. 4. I don't want to be the fat Mom and embarace my kids. 5. I lost my Mom at the age of 28. I do not want my kids to go through that.

    My top 5 are:

    1. My wedding ring almost fits
    2. I need to hear my husband tell me how beautiful I look and chase me around the house again.
    3. I want to play outside with my children without being winded.
    4. I want to set a good example for my little girls
    5. Drum roll please......AND NUMBER 5 IS......for me. I want to look in the mirror and not be disgusted!

    1. I'm tired of feeling sorry for myself and feeling like I have no control.
    2. I'm NOT getting my wedding rings sized UP!
    3. There is a skinny woman somewhere inside this fat girl.
    4. I want another baby and I want to do it right. I want both of us to be healthy this time around and I want to increase the chances of getting pregnant! (We tried for 9 mos before & though my daughter was healthy, I suffered greatly!)
    5. I've fallen short of almost every single goal in my life because I don't truly believe I deserve it. It's time I start telling myself that I'm worth it and proving to myself not only that I CAN do it but that I DID IT!

    Forgot about that sexy lingerie!!! I have one of the biggest collections of it that I've ever seen and I couldn't tell you the last time something in it fit! I'm too stubborn to get rid of it, though, I did clean it out considerably when I was pregnant.

    Ok.....here are my top 5:

    1. I want to look good naked
    2. I want to be able to fit into regular size clothing
    3. I want to be sexy again
    4. I'm just sick of being fat
    5. I'm sick of my 6 year old telling me I'm fat

    Ok, I'll go (I've lost 75lbs already, but still need a few more gone...)

    1. I still want those last 10 pounds gone.
    2. Obesity, heart disease, & diabetes are staples in my family -- not going to get me!
    3. I like for my hubby to like what he sees.
    4. I don't want my kiddos to give up being healthy b/c they think they are "genetically doomed."
    5. If I keep it off for a few years, I get to have a tummy tuck!

    1) I have no cute clothes to wear
    2)I want to wear a bathin' suit again
    3)I want to feel confident when I got out
    4)I want to wear sexy clothes for my hubby
    5)I want work out in sexy clothes

    1) Want to look GREATTT
    2)Want to fit a size 10
    3)Tired of the comments "You are getting fatter..."
    4)I want to stay Healthy
    5)I want to feel proud of myself again...

    Maybe they aren't as good for all of you but is the top five for me..

    This is like therapy!

    1. I am soooo tired of my thighs rubbing/slapping together!
    2. I want to look good in my clothes.
    3. I want to look good out of my clothes.
    4. I want to wear a bathing suit/tank tops with confidence!
    5. I want people to do a double takes, and not out of horror. :tongue:

    This is a good thread ----

    I want to loose the extra weight cause ---
    1. I want to be fit and active.
    2. Since I have developed Thyroid HYPO, I don't want to get anymore bad things related to weight atleast.
    3. I want to get back to wearing skirts.
    4. I feel so much better when I am lighter in weight.
    5. I want to have another baby in next 3 years :)

    Wow:noway: godsgirl, you've done it again!! These posts are amazing. I found myself tearing up and wanting to workout while reading this, what a motivational thread! Cheers to all you beautiful, healthy amazing women and men who posted here! We do deserve it!!!:drinker:

    my 5 are:

    1. I want to be around to see my kids grow up
    2. I don't want my kids to look at me and think being overweight is okay
    3. I want to be able to go in a store and buy clothes that are not plus sized
    4. I want to be confident and not ashamed of how I look
    5. I want my hubby to see me below 200 pounds ( he never has except in pictures, but he loves me anyways, now that is true love).

    Hmmm.....
    1: I do not want to die just yet.
    2: I am just simply sick of being fat.
    3: I want people to see ME for ME, not just stare because I'm overweight.
    4: I want to feel comfortable in a bathing suit (or any clothes, for that matter!)
    5: I want to feel healthy.

    1.) I am tired of looking in the mirror and not liking what I see.

    2.) I want to teach my kids to be healthy!!

    3.) I want to hear my hubby say that I am sexy and feel it on the inside. (He tells me now, but...I have my doubts about myself.)

    4.) I love the beach....Would be AWESOME if I could wear a bathing suit again!!

    5.) This list could go on and on and on!! I want to do so many things and my weight hold me back!! But not this time baby!! Let's do this!!! Bring on the workouts!!!

    I needed this as well...

    1. I don't want any health issues as a result of weight (my family has no horrible health history).
    2. I want to be comfortable when I look at myself naked (I miss my flat tummy).
    3. I want to overcome complusive overeating.
    4. I want to be athletic again.
    5. I want for my boyfriend to be able to pick me up again.

    The top 5 reasons I must lose weight

    1. For my savior who has done so much for me---it's the least I can do...
    2. My family---the family that doesn't remember me slim and healthy:laugh:
    3. I've wanted this for years and nothing is holding me back but me! I'm tired of being fat!:grumble:
    4. I want the confidence that I had when I was thin and healthy
    5. I'm all out of excuses!

    My 5:

    1. Want to be healthy and feel healthy.
    2. Want to be alive (not just breathing) but actually alive and active and living life to the fullest.
    3. Want to show my nieces and nephews that the "big butt" gene can be overcome.
    4. Want to wear the sexy, fun, cute clothes that my "skinny" friends get to.
    5. Because I have never been my ideal weight and would love to actually weigh what it says on my drivers license!!!

    This is great and so inspiring!!!

    My top 5 reasons for wanting to loose the weight - for good!

    1. I want to take my kids to the pool while sporting a bikini and my husband to be proud as hell!
    2. I don't want to look good for someone who has had 3 kids, I just want to look good with no contingencies!
    3. I want to be able to run in a sports bra when it's hot out instead of a baggy t shirt.
    4. I want to be able to wear short shorts and not worry about dimpling of my rear or how huge my thighs look when I sit in shorts.
    5. I want to teach my girls how to do flip-flops by demonstrating to them instead of just telling them (I know it seems like a wierd reason, but it was always a goal of mine to never loose that skill, even after kids)

    2: I want to look amazing in my boyfriends eyes too ( He already thinks i do)
    3: i want too be healthy, and have a baby
    4: i need cloths size 9 and under,tired of size13 and up.
    5: I hate looking at myself in tthe mirror or in pictures and feeling fat and ugly
