    really?
I was just thinking about how much fun we had talking about (teasing) him.....
Didn't feel any big void or anything....maybe just a few snarky one liners?

Maybe Max could make more time for his gal friend tomorrow

I wasn't in on the poking fun at max! I was busy with my grandson while y'all had your fun. Max adds a unique blend of sarcasm and humor to this thread. that is why I stick around, I like laughing out loud even if no one hears it!

Going to a baby shower this weekend! the weather in Los Angeles where it is is supposed to be 78 that day. My Niece is having her first baby soon, so drive 140 miles to give her the quilt I made.

My mom usually makes the quilts too. For my second daughter tho, I told her to wait, I want to save my favorite outfits until her 1st bday, and make a quilt out of her clothes. I can't wait!

I really enjoy doing it, I have won a bunch of awards for my quilts. been sewing for 40 years, my major in school was art! a good combo I guess.

I wish I could sew, well, I can hand sew but I'd love to learn how to use a machine, never took that in school. I've made things like curtains, but thats about it!

I have a room full of machines and gadgets! It is nearly mindless, the humm of the machine is very calming. probably because I used to listen to my mother sewing at night as we were going to sleep.

do you machine, or hand sew your quilts? My mom does everything by hand, which is why I don't know how to use a machine! It takes me so long to do anything by hand, so I don't usually make anything.

Assemble by machine, quilt by hand.

Couldn't see. I had washed my underwear and it was hanging up to dry, blocking my view.

You actually wash your underwear! Admirable for a fry cook!
