Oh I don't mean to upset anyone! I know we all get busy, I just don't want anyone to be offended if I don't remind them. That's all! :flowerforyou:

I had to blockade my bedroom door last night, because it doesn't latch shut and my moms cat pushes the door open like a little rhino. I woke up in the middle of the night last night with a kitty walking on me.

Today is supposed to be yoga, but in all honesty I usually skip it and use it as a rest day, but I think I'll run again even though my calves are still killing me! :noway: I feel good getting my exercise in everyday this week, because it's been longer than I can remember that I've even done 2 days in a row!! I'm just hoping to see the weight start falling off. I've been doing really well with my calories, too.

I wish my kitty would sleep with me. But no, he has to go sleep in the living room...:grumble:

Lostincali-:flowerforyou: :brokenheart:  .I feel soo bad for you. My Mom is like my best friend too. I can't imagine the resentment you feel towards your Dad. I have 0 tolerance for that kind of crap...wish that generation did too. Be strong darlin'-we are all here for you...take your anger and pain out with exercise, it feels even better! As for changing your eating lifestyle, always remember what your Mom would want for you. And that's the best, you deserve it! So eat well, exercise, and forgive her for what happened. She's watching over you, wanting you to be ok.

I woke up at 10:30 this morning. I went to bed early but I must've been tired. I'm eating good today, but I haven't got in exercise/cardio in yet. I'm hoping to do that in a little while.

Uggggh 1 more hour of work and then I can FINALLY go for my run. I'm liking these cloudy/gloomy days lately. I'd much rather run in weather like this than hot and sunny. :flowerforyou:

I agree that these gloomy days are a lot nicer for running. There was one day I went to do my run and it was about 80 degrees out and it was so hard to finish. It is harder to get motivated to go out and run but it is better on the temperature side.

I have a real hard time breathing when I am running and it's hot - I guess we'll have to keep building our endurance.

OOooookkkkkk.... I took my final exam today and as long as I passed it, I will be the proud owner of a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management and Insurance from The University of Georgia!!! And I'm not doing a damn thing with it.

LostinCali ~ All I can say is  . I can't imagine the feelings. I know what you mean about this time of year bringing back memories, though! My husband completely betrayed my trust while I was pregnant and told me he wanted to leave me on Mother's Day last year. We obviously have come a long way to work things out and move on from that but being alone this Mother's Day not only made me really sad but made me very angry at him all over again. What you shared with us is making me realize that as hurt as I am, I still need to be thankful to have him in my life! He is very loving now and very, very sorry and ashamed for what he did. (No, he didn't cheat. If he had, he wouldn't be a part of my life right now)

Chrissy ~ LOVE the post about the kitty rules!!! They forgot that if the human has a laptop or computer keyboard, lay across it, especially if there is super important work to be done! Somehow, my husband's cat managed to delete him off my AIM buddy list. I couldn't figure out why his mobile number wasn't showing up there anymore until I realized she had also opened about 34 AOL Help screens at the same time. She's the same cat that sleeps on my chest when there's an entire Queen sized bed void of a second person. I swear she's just going to eat me in my sleep one night!

Good job to all you Blues who lost! Where is Bryce?! Is he back from his trip yet?! We need some testosterone back up in here! To anyone who didn't check in or didn't lose... just keep plugging along and stick with it! You cannot fail until you give up!!!

Oooh noooo!!! I just typed a whole big post and lost it.

Anyway....with more of !!!!!!!! and    ...I was just saying that I completed all 8 of the run/walks for the first week of C25k!!! After the first run I was doubting whether I was going to even make it as far as I did 2 days ago because my calves are so sore, but I kept thinking of my blue team and all those 300lb+ people on biggest loser and just kept running. I didn't stop no matter how slow I was going or how small my steps were. I used google maps and estimated that I did about 2mi which completely bloooows my mind because I haven't done any sort of walking or running since freshman year of high school!!!

Proof is in the picture...well my face is actually a bit more purple in person.....no wonder people driving by were looking at me like I was about to collapse.

lostnCali: My heart goes out to you for your loss- I'm in awe of your strength, which is a testiment to your mom.

hmo4: love the "rules." Gotta forward those to some friends & family.

Rach: great picture and congrats on the 2 mi milestone. That's great!

I hung out during my lunch hour and bonded with the treadmill. Thinking I should probably go do some weights at the gym after dinner, but I should also probably pack as we're moving in two weeks. How come no one's invented a machine to allow you to be in two places at once? That would be awesome!

Rach-you are just a doll. Any guy giving you up is nuts!
I'm doing the 200 Squats Challenge right now, and after biking against the wind today, my legs are killing me.
I'm babysitting my bff's daughter Maddy tomorrow, who is 6 (I had to rescucitate her at birth, thank God she's great). I love having her, a fun little one to spoil. She LOVES coming over-I think it's to play with my crazy cat, but I like to think it's because of me!
My 12 yr. old did awesome in her track meet. I was the only parent and one taking pics, and had a group meeting with McKenzie's MANY new girlfriends. I explained to them the proper ways to Sprint, and the ones who did what I explained, beat their times or their arche enemies! My daughter jumped for joy and ran and told the guys what to do and most of them did better too!:drinker: Wish I could get a job like that, but I'm not going back to school. She actually hugged me before I left the schoolyard. It's been so long...:smooched:

We have runners everywhere! I will begin week 5 of C25k tonight....met a lady last night at my strength class who heard me talking to one of my friends - she and her sister did the program and have now finished 3 5ks...it was nice to hear it working....and nice to meet new people to inspire me....

My daughter ran in the 2a NC High School State track meet last Friday - she finished 4th in the 4*400 relay in the state and 11th in the 4*200....she had her best times of the year - it was great...

Rach - I am so proud of you so are you ready for week 2? Love the pink cheeks! I think that week 4 was the toughest for me so far - if 5 is too much today, I'll redo week 4 - as long as I keep going!!!!

Kathy - hope you had fun with Maddy sounds like you are very attached!

    Thanks everyone!

Chrissy - I think I might do another round of Week 1, because by halfway through my running is barely running anymore. I think I'd make it easier on myself If I took bigger steps...when I do it feels like a lot less impact, but after the first run my legs are just not wanting to. I think I'll keep working with this one and improve my stamina and distance a bit before I move on to Week 2. I'm just amazed at what I've done so far!!

Well I woke up this morning...and it feels like someone has beat my shins with a baseball bat. I even went to sleep with a heat pack on them! :noway: I know It feels like they're bruised, but I know it's just because my calves are soo tight. I've always had that issue so I'm really working on them and trying to stretch them out. My mom keeps telling me I need more potassium.

Today is my legs & back day though....go figure...so I'll be doing that after work!

Oh and I treated myself to some new workout pants that are cuuuute! They're 8/10's too!!! They're pretty tight right now but give it a couple weeks. I can't believe I even fit them when I wear a 16 in jeans.

I finally bought 14s last weekend - it was so exciting considering I started in a 22 probably should have been 24 - great feeling - I accidentally tried on 10s (hanger was marked 14) - I was like a sausage and couldn't button them but I was able to pull them up - progress!

My running is SLOW - you'll gain speed with endurance - I really think the running is what's helped kick start me - I lost 2.4 pounds in the past week....typically morning after my strength class I was up a pound and this morning only less than a half difference...scale can be crule - but I realize with certain times that it's a lot of fluid - TOM, after strength...

Keep up the good work - ice those shins....allow yourself rest days in between too

I'm trying to look at the Arby's website so I can enter the food I'm going to eat later. Then I'll know how many calories I can eat today.

The past couple of days have been wonderful!!!! I stopped at Kohl's last night to pick up a new backpack and while I was there I thought why not try on a pair of jeans. I went down a pant size!!! I now fit into a 9  !!!!! I also picked up a new water bottle while I was there - pretty in pink. I have already drank one full bottle which is 32 ounces. Which is amazing because I never drink that much water. So I am all smiles today!!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day too!!!

    WOOOHOOO! Go Blues!!!!

Rach ~ AWESOME! And I feel your pain with those shins.

Chrissy ~ You are looking SO GOOD in that new pic!!!

Jacqueline ~ Fantastic! Isn't that exciting?!

So, I got brave and pulled out some pre-pregnancy clothing last night. My size 16 Capris fit! They were a tad bit snug in the thighs but hey, they zipped and I could sit in them without fear of ripping them to shreds! I started this out in a size 20 and I just gave those pants to my Mom. I'm hoping to inspire her to lose weight with me by giving her my fat clothes. For some reason, though, the regular size 16 pants I had won't go past my thighs. I think I might have bought them in the Juniors department and I definitely have a woman's body now that I've given birth.

Well I didn't sleep great last night and am sure tired today. Did the banking for the day, and we're broke for 2 more weeks! Ahhhh! My legs are still sore, but I will persevere later with the ex. I cannot stop eating at evening/night time! That's when I do so badly.:grumble: The day is great usually. Must break the aweful habit. Any challenges team?:drinker:

Thanks again, everyone, for all the support and love. I truly appreciate it more than you'll ever know :)

Carrie, sorry my story made you cry but thank you for your empathy!

ngwife, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that is affected by dates LOL. it's so wierd cause it will just sneak up on me then WHAM, like a ton of bricks, comes down on me and all those initial feelings come back full force.

I've totally forgiven my mom and even understand her decision and it relieves me to know she wanted to take it back, it was just too late. I was fortunate to have her in the ICU to be able to tell her all the things I wanted to say, although she couldn't talk back because she was on a ventilator the whole time. I have NOT forgiven my dad. I thought I had, but then in January, of this year, he said some REALLY hurtful things about my mom to try to say that she poisoned us against him all those years. She didn't have to!! He did that all on his own!!! jerk. Needless to say, I don't speak to him anymore, don't respond to his emails, don't want him a part of my life and refuse to let him taint my children's lives. The cycle ends with me.

On a brighter note... we had a thunder/lightning storm last night. My best friend and I were sitting on the porch watching it, and (brace yourself, here's the bad part LOL) drinking beers. I gotta say, though, I don't feel guilty. I had a bad day, I was able to talk with my best friend about some really deep stuff, we had a great time... so there :) hehe

Hope you all have a fun Friday and a wonderful weekend!!!!

HAHAHAHA!!! sounds like me :) We get paid today and I'm sure it will all be spent by this afternoon on bills and groceries. Depressing. But at least I know the economy's bad and everyone's hurting... misery loves company I suppose LOL
