Force Feeding?

I've been eating around 1100-1200 calories a day for about a year and now I'm trying to follow the MFP caloric guideline of 1800-1900. Problem is, I'm having a lot of trouble eating that much food. I know it will take a few weeks for my body to get used to eating again, yet I can't help but wonder if there is anyone who knows of some pointers on how to eat more without feeling nauseated.
I didn't meet my goal intake today- but I'm getting better at eating. Now if the sicky feeling would just go away.... *urp!*
