Calorie Counter

My calorie counter on here has been set at 1200 since I started here. I realize it automatically takes into consideration 500 calories towards exercise etc.
After reviewing Fat 2 Fit site and calculating my BMR and TDEE it has been worked out that I should be eating 1867 calories per day, this is for a woman who works out between 1 to 3 times per week.
I've tried changing my calorie counter and when I input what has been suggested, the site goes into the negative (e.g. 1867 calories - 1740 calories(this must be the total allowed before the 500 calories is removed) = -127.
Does anyone know how to change the format so that I can properly record what I am doing and have it reflect my screen?
Thanks!
