Any techniques for improving my lungs. Mainly for better running.
I can run about 20mins now but it's a struggle. I've been smoke
Free now for 5 years and am stuck in c25k.

Take it slow... keep running and up your time by a bit each day. It will come:-)0

You just have to push your body into the discomfort zone to meet the c25k goals. Cardiovascular condition will continue to improve.
If you didn't have any permanent disease from the smoking you have been smoke free long enough that the former smoking is not having any effect.
I have been smoke free for 14 months and am running faster and longer at age 52 than I was when I was 22 just by putting in the work and waiting for the results to come.0
