So, I joined MFP at the end of January with my best friend. Our long term goal is to FINALLY hit that ideal weight--we graduate high school in next year, and senior year is all about looking goooood.
My primary goal was to drop some weight before going to visit some friends in Brazil. I went to a coastal city--which means lots of beaches, and if you're familiar with Brazilian culture--teeeeny bikinis.
I had NEVER worn a bikini in my entire life--it's always been one pieces (I'm Mormon--we're into that whole modesty thing.)
I left March 11th, 10 pounds lighter
(If you want to see some pictures and read about me and my best friend's progress, go to www.caiandalex.blogspot.com)
I was so happy-- I felt like I really rocked that bikini.
Now, the hard part.
I didn't exercise a lot of willpower in Brazil. I didn't complete engorge myself, but I definitely enjoyed all the native foods and didn't keep a calorie count. (The only thing I did do was go on long runs every day; we're long distance track runners, so I had to stay in shape for that.)
I need motivation to get my willpower back into shape. I need help saying NO to excess food, eating late at night, etc. This week (getting back into the swing of things) was not so great-- 3 out of the 7 days were not good eating wise.
So, what do you guys do to exercise good willpower?
