Anyone else going?
For anyone else that's participated, any training tips?
I can run 10 mi right now and think I have the mindset to complete it, but I have 6 months to work on upper body strength (pushups are no problem, but pullups are)!!

I'm doing the Mid-Atlantic TM Sept 8. I can only run 5mi as of Friday, but I'm alternating running with some of the p90x upper body workouts. Day 1 is a run, day 2 p90x chest and back, day 3 run, day 4p90x shoulders and arms, day 5 run, day 6 p90x back and biceps, day 7 rest. I plan to do this for 6 weeks and then work with a trainer to assess my strengths and weaknesses and help me plan for the event. There are quite a few exercise programs online, and I think NJ even has some gyms that offer boot camps. Good luck!0

Coach Jim Nix, who writes the 12-week training plan listed in the article, also has quite a few of his exercises on youtube.0
