Since not everyone is a member of the "group" for the Around the World game/challenge - just thought that I'd have a team thread here, in case we want to motivate and encourage... i.e. give a swift kick in the boooootay! Maybe throw out some trash talk. LOL. Plus - thought this would help with ensuring that everyone could access the spreadsheet address and weekly schedule for bonuses.

Team Spreadsheet:

Thanks everyone... looking forward to making our way around the world in very quick fashion!

OK Team... I'll be sending this link out to everyone because we need to make some decisions for next week... and need to hear about what everyone's schedules look like - so we can make wise decisions, and best utilize our resources!

    Here's the Week 3 Schedule:

*NEW* - WILD CARD DAY!! Note the TEAM gets to pick which day to double the miles, which day to triple the miles and which remaining 3 days will be regular miles. THIS IS NOT AN INDIVIDUAL CHOICE - it counts for the whole team. So discuss among yourselves and figure out what's what.

    ***********
Here's the schedule for week 3.

    Sunday, April 15
    Wild Card Day

    Monday, April 16
REST DAY & Water Challenge Day

    Tuesday, April 17
    Wild Card Day

    Wednesday, April 18
Get Moving Challenge: 50 push ups! Push ups are harder, so you don't have to do as many as the jumping jacks - only 50. They can be on your knees if you can't do the full plank push-up. And you do not have to do them all at one time. Split them up as needed. If you participate, you earn 50 bonus miles - total 250 miles if the whole team plays along!

    Thursday, April 19
Wild Card Day & Water Challenge Day

    Friday, April 20
    Wild Card Day

    Saturday, April 21
    Wild Card Day

    ***********

So... I am curious as to what all of you have going on, what your plans are for next week, if you have preferences or not?!?

subbing monday, so that's a good rest day for me, actually. I'll still get to the gym, I think, but never has as much to give on those days.

I think I'd vote for a Friday double and Saturday triple.

Wednesday and Friday are my best days. I see that Wednesday is Get Moving day, so I assume we can't use that one. I would prefer not to do the double and triple days back to back. Whatever works for everyone else. Sundays are my worst days though.

Yeah... Carla - we can't use Wednesday because it's the Get Moving Day...

Eek... Troy - back to back?!? Really?!?

Troy did make a good point, somewhere else I guess... that anything left for the end of the week - gives us more of a clear picture of just what we need to do to make up the ground - or, if we do massively well somewhere, make a bit of a lead... So, that's a thought!

Saturday is gonna be my best day, or at least gives me the best potential. However, you all know me... I am gonna get in a good burn on those days no matter which ones they are!

Well - I think that hearing from Lee and Cyndi should help with knowing who is available to do what and when... So, let's see what they have to say. Just figured we could maybe gain some ground if we plan this right.

back to back? why not? I'm going to the gym anyway, right?
    :)

I'm down with a double day earlier. But saturday would be great for a triple.

    My typical workout schedule is:

Easy on Sunday, some strength stuff
More on Monday - last chance workout day for that BL game
Tuesdays - work with my PT and do extra cardio, one of my bigger burn days
    Wednesday - average burn
Thursday - cardio & strength stuff... can always increase intensity and time on this day
Friday - not as much lately d/t work schedule, but average burn
Saturday - have plenty of time and a day after to recover, so best chance for massive burns

So... for me... maybe a double day on either Tuesday or Thursday? And then do triple day on Saturday?

Additionally, as I mentioned earlier - on Saturday I would have an idea of what I needed to do to help close the gap with the Phitbits (Lilbits)... and, that actually really motivates me... keeps me working longer and harder. I think that it's a blessing, even if sometimes I curse it! ha, ha, ha.

Right now with how my knee is feeling, double and triple days later in the week would be good as I am going to take a couple of days off and see if that helps.
