Heart Rate - iPhone App

Have any of you seen the app on the iPhone which reads your heart rate through shining light through your finger (much like they do in hospital)???

Anyone tested it against their real HRM?

    nope, since i have an hrm, why bother? the idea sounded nifty though when i saw it...

    Wanted to see if it worked and don't have a HRM.... it seem accurate when you manually time it but obviously thats open to limitations!

    I haven't seen it before, going to try and find it and test it against my treadmill.

    I got the Polar FT7 HRM the other day and it is a game changer. I paid full price but you can get it or the very slightly more basic FT4 for around $75 or less if you get it online.

    I would highly recommend getting the real thing. Good luck!

    Checked the app against my treadmill today.. it was off by +30. :/
