Half way there (pics)

So I posted about a month ago that I was 20 pounds down and had 40 pounds to go. I thought that my next post will be "40 pounds down, 20 to go" but today I was feeling kinda down that there's not much change the last few weeks (although my friends and family finally noticed) so I looked over the photos I take every week specifically for this reason (because the human mind has a tolerance for noticing change, and if your body physique change is within this tolerance you don't notice any change so unless I loose 60 pounds in one night or I don't look in the mirror for 6 months I won't notice much of a change... and that's why taking photos of yourself is good even if you might be embarrassed [nobody forces you to show them to anyone.... AND they are a good reminder of where you'we been and where you never want to return again]). And when comparing my photos from the first week and from this one I couldn't help but smile... And I decided that I'm going to put them up today and not wait another 4-5 weeks until I'm down 40 pounds...

    You're doing really good, you can totally see the changes in your face. It is pretty discouraging when looking in the mirror every day feels like nothing is changing. Just keep up what you're doing and when you reach your long-term goal, you'll be pleased you did!
