Burned Exercise Question

So, my HRM obviously will tell me how many calories I have burned. Now, my numbers vary, but for the sake of this question, lets say that if I am wearing my HRM while resting for 30 minutes, and I burn 100 calories, then wear it while exercising and I burn 300 calories, if I choose to eat my calories back, I should only eat 200 calories, considering I would have burned 100 anyway, just for being alive?
Sorry, I never was awesome at grammar....I am sure there are lots of comma splices in this post, but the question still stands. Haha.
Edit to add that I just realized that the post title is supposed to say burned calories. I may have had a beer before writing this post. Lol
