Please Explain The BmR Thing To me

if ur Bmr is 1500, are u supposed to eat more than that or less? why?
please tell me everything u know about this Bmr thing

BMR is the calories you burn if you literally don't get out of bed, being used by your organs doing their living thing.
Your maintenance level is your BMR, plus the calories you expend in your normal daily activity (getting up and dressed, working your job, cooking dinner, etc), plus any explicit exercise you do.
VERY generally speaking, you don't want to eat much less than your BMR. You can lose weight just fine eating at a deficit from your maintenance. Eating less than BMR, a lot of people will lose for awhile, but then will stall out as their metabolism down shifts to the low calorie levels. Some others do fine. Depends on age, genetics, and how far away from ideal weight you are. But that's why MFP recommends that 1 lb/week of weight loss is recommended.
