Any thoughts on how to lower your A1C? Mine is sky high. No lectures or guilt trips please. I already know how dangerous it is.

Are you tracking everything you eat? If so, have you been able to notice a trend at all?

    My husband lowered his by:
    1. Following the calories recommended by MFP
    2. Cutting way, way back on carbs of all kinds. Not eliminating them altogether, but making much better choices
    3. Cutting out all processed sugar except for a couple of squares of really dark chocolate every night- his reward for being good all day
    4. Consuming NO artificial sweeteners
    5. Upping his vegetables considerably - at least a couple of cups worth at every meal
    6. Eating 4 meals a day. This really helped him stabilize his blood sugar.

Don't know if these tips can help you, but they can't hurt!
