Okay so I have been tracking my food for 2 years..recently gained some that I am trying to get back off..do u ever get to the point where you're scared to eat anything? Like what is making me gain..watch the sugar, oh no the carbs..am i getting enough protein? sometimes I think I get so OCD..was wondering if anyone else ever felt like this? And yes I still do eat, not starving myself, etc..

well, there may be other variables at play here. Your metabolism changes as you get older, what worked before won't work as well now.. or maybe there's been another change in your life that you haven't realized to factor in.. a new stressor, or maybe endocrine issues such as thyroid or diabetes.. I view food as a means to a workout, it's fuel that helps optimize my fitness. I am not afraid to eat, and I'm not afraid to gain weight, I'm more interested in my fitness level and what I'm able to accomplish in strength and endurance. Then again, I'm the last thing from your typical woman, too. Examine every facet of your life, not just diet and see if you can discover an outlier that may be responsible.

It's easy to go crazy with it. Since you've tracked your diet for so long you have an advantage. Look at what you were doing when you lost weight vs. stalled. maybe you can see a pattern or places where you can make a change.

If the diet seems to have stayed the same, regarding macros and sodium, next you look at your routine.
You were eating at maintenance, and if you think this is real fat weight, you must have had a surplus some how, usually because routine changed.

Less exercise, less daily activity in some way?
    More weights?
More training for 5K, or better training, so now muscles can hold onto glucose stores better, which includes water too?

Yes. I'm just starting out - not even a month in yet - but I'm almost terrified to eat things because ohmigod, it might not be good for me. Or if I eat this, I won't be able to eat that. It's stressful at times. I have a hard time going easy on myself because I'm afraid I'll screw this up (again).

But hey. if you fall off, just get back up.
