I direct this question more towards the women because our bodies are weird when it comes to weight loss. I diet and exercise like made and in the past two days I am gaining weight. I count calories except on Saturday which is my off day. I expect to gain a few lbs but once I get back on the stick I lose it. Well in the past two days with all the exercise I have gone up more. Last week I was on vacation and I dropped weight like mad, now it is coming back. I have read that sometimes stress and lack of sleep and even overexercise can cause this. What do you all do to combat this? Any thoughts? I would hate for last week's success to be down the drain.

Worrying about the scale from one day to the next will drive you crazy. A much better way is to measure yourself in the waist and hips, bust, and thighs. Also take pictures front and back.
I have only lost five pounds in three months, but I have lost a dress size, and four inches off my waist and three off my hips. I exercise a lot, five days a week at the gym, and I am building muscle which may be stalling weight loss, but I am more toned and look better than when I started.
So I say don't worry about the scale. Go by how your clothes fit and measurements.0
