On the road to recovery

Hey there! I was looking for more support on here. I am a disabled vet with asthma and 2 reoccurring shoulder dislocations. I pretty much babied them and became sedentary. Also am on a steroid which makes weight loss even worse. I have been doing Hatha Yoga and that really has helped loosen things up a bit to the point I am not as scared of things popping out.
If anyone also could help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it. At work, I already put in 10,000 steps a day. I think that my baseline may be screwed up on here. Does anyone know how many extra steps I need to go to get the same benefits that someone who doesn't normally do 10,000 steps a day gets? I can explain better if someone asks.
Good luck in achieving and maintaining healthiness!!
