How Come this morning after I lost another 2lbs ,now in which it is saying congratulations you have lost more than over 10lbs which is so true, but why would my calories go from 1500 til 1270,wouldnt it go up a little?, Im just curious to why would it drop so significantly after all this weight loss so far? Have it happen to any of you guys?

I havent had this as i dont have much to use.. But to put it in the nicest way possible... The bigger you are the more energy you need to keep your body going = more cals each day... but once you start loosing.. your maintinance cals will go down.. because your dont need as much to "run" your body... I hope this made sense Shanta??!!

it's because as you lose weight, the calculations on this site deem your total maintenance calories to be less. Unless you adjust your goals, (I.E. tell it you no longer want to lose 2 lbs a week, and now you want to lose 1.5 or something like that) the total calories you are allowed to consume will go down.

I would suggest that since you have come down in weight, adjust your goals to be more reasonable to where you are. I.E. when you had 85 lbs to lose you were obese or what ever, and thus could lose 2 lbs a week, now with 54 to lose maybe you are in the overweight category, and 2 lbs a week is a bit much for you.

Congrats by the way! 31 lbs lost is AWESOME!
