Hello Pebbles!
How are you all today?
Congrats CP on the race and feeling hardcore!
Yesterday I had to run some errands. By the end of them Alex had had four crying sessions. :grumble: He's probably going to be back on his meds by the end of the weekend. It's getting to the point that I don't want to take him out. We have to go out again today because I need to get my driver's license renewed. I hope the line isn't long!
I am going to try to get the backyard cleaned up today. That will probably be it.
I have been eating less than I was (though I'm not quite down to 1200 cals) but I've gained a pound and I don't feel any smaller. I'm trying to remind myself that some times it takes a few weeks to get things going.
I'd better get going. Have a good day!

Great job CP!
Welcome home WL! Would love to see Yellowstone - and Yosemite - and the Sequioa National Park
- and, well you get the idea.
We had the worst news yesterday. Our kitty is inoperable and only has a few months to live. It's hard to tell at this point when we will have to make that decision, but even the vet said it will be hard in this case. Husband is going to call today and get more information - even though the vet talked to me for almost an hour - a lot didn't make it through. He's pictured as my avatar. We are guessing he is 14 years old, but he could be older as we got him as an adult. He's one sweet kitty.
I guess I'm going to have to start practicing headstand at home. Doing it once a week isn't getting me anywhere. My teacher said to do it 6x a week, but I think that's a bit much. So today is walking and headstand - maybe some other yoga as well.

Oh Mary, I'm so sorry. That is terrible news.
CP, amazing job, you hardcore rain-runner, you.
and MM, good news about the adoption starting to move forward. Everything worth doing in life is that combination of scary and exciting, I think.
Arianne, I don't know where May went either. Hope things smooth out at your work soon. Shake-ups are scary, especially nowadays with all the cutbacks everyone is making.
Wandering, welcome back!
Today is Bikram. I feel a little sore from spinning today (mostly I think I lost my bum callous).
Take care of yourselves.:flowerforyou:0 -
Mary, sorry about your kitty.
He is a pretty cat. :brokenheart:

Mary, I'm so sorry about your kitty.
I need to practice headstands too...I still get nervous when I do them.
I got my HRM back from being repaired, and I'm glad because I really need the extra motivation. I'm setting a new goal -- I have a wedding on July 18 to go to and I'm going to drop my calories and up my cardio to jumpstart some changes. I must confess that ever since getting back from Antarctica I haven't been pushing myself as much as I was before I left.
Today:
~ Vitamins
~ Burn 600 calories
~ Keep my sugars down
~ Maybe a happy hour yoga class?
~ Plan my meals for the weekend0 -
Oh, Mary - I'm so sorry to hear about your cat.
He's a beautiful kitty.
Today is the start of my sorta birthday weekend (b-day is Monday, but I also have to be on call starting Monday, so I probably won't get to go out that night). I am happy because the last 3 days I have been back at the weight I was last week (a pound or two under 150), and my goal was 150 by my b-day. So I am there! Now I just need to schedule my fitness re-assessment at the Y.
I'll do a walk after lunch and pushups later, but that's probably it. Depending on the weather this weekend we may try to get out for a hike.

Got the driver's license renewed. It wasn't a disaster so that was a blessing. In fact Alex sneezed several times (he has a cute sneeze) and made everyone in there laugh and say how cute he was. One of the troopers even wanted to give him something but he had to run off to a class. While we were standing in line two of the workers were having a silent competition to see who could get their people moved fast enough so they could see Alex. People go ape over him. Who can blame them?
In the 90's today and I have to go work out in the yard. :grumble: Anyone have any idea on calories burned while weed eating for an hour? Should I just count it as mowing? It seems like it's a lot more work to weed eat.
