Don't think there is a definite weight. The amount pasta would weight after it being cooked is determined by the amount of water it has absorbed.
Why do you need to know how much pasta weighs after it's been cooked?0 -
I want to enter it in my food diary, but my husband will be cooking the pasta and it will already be cooked by the time I get home from work, so I won't be able to measure my serving pre-cooked.0

Depends on the shape of the dry pasta.........basically 2 ounces dry weight ususally comes out to 3/4 to 1 cup cooked. Shape dictates how much space they take up in a container....obviously shell, rigatoni etc will not occupy the same space as ziti or orecchiette pasta. Spaghetti, linguini or similar shape, 2 oz dry will generally be around that 1 cup measurement.0
