10k bound! app reccomendations and advice

Did my first 5k in over three years on Saturday!!!!! and I'm happy to say I am hooked again :-)

I used the c25k program to train. So now I want to start training for a 10k, most of the training apps recommend at least 6 weeks some more. For those of you who have used an app to train which app did you like and what advice can you give me to train for a 10k?

    Sorry, I'm a luddite; I've never used any of the training apps but if you're looking for some decent (free) training plans check out runnsersworld.com.

    If you were comfortable during the 5K and have 5 or 6 weeks a 10K should be a very realistic goal.

    How far you running each week right now (& how often)?

    Gateway to 10 K. It is similar to the C25K.

    I use runkeeper to do custom intervals. There's a group here on doing 10k after c25k, I think its called bridge to 10k.
