Spinach? Baby Spinach?

What is the difference between spinach and baby spinach? I am using a recipe that is on the back of a Philadelphia Cheese container (the savory garlic cooking sauce), and it calls for baby spinach. I accidentally grabbed regular spinach at the store. Can I substitute regular spinach for baby? Sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but I have never cooked with spinach before.

it will work just fine
Baby spinach is just that, the baby. The leaves are smaller and more tender. But if you are cooking with it there is no difference.0 -
