Noise canceling headphones - no go for me.

I feel like a complete weirdo but I bought my first set of noise canceling headphones and I have to return them. I can hear myself breathe, chew, swallow, EVERYTHING!
I feel like I'm in solitary confinement or something when I have them on with no music playing (in between songs). It's like I can't breathe because I'm paying too much attention to my breaths. :noway:
