Bit of a weird question - I have just spent the day at a theme park with my children walking up and down hills pushing a buggy for about 2.5/3 hours.

How would I work out how many calories I have burnt from doing this?

Thanks

  • Ok I just became a member with a few of the girls I work with. I have started working out more, but I feel like I'm still not where I want to be. I'm not really here to loose weight just tone and be more healthy. Any suggestions on toning exercises? I would really like to focus on my stomach area, hips and legs. I don't like too much muscle though.

I would say you could probably log it as walking, leisurely pace (the slowest possible) and then count about 1/4 to 1/2 the amount of time because I'm sure part of your time was spent standing and waiting. This is just a guess. I'm not really sure.

If it were me, I'd go the exercise log and use about a 2.0 speed to get a close number. Not sure this helps you out but, its what I'd do.

Thank you, I had a look in the database and they had a walking when pushing a stroller so thought I 'd log this
