    I am on a journey, and I say that as often as possible just to piss Binary off.
    :laugh: This was the first thing I thought of when I saw this post. Much to my disappointment though, his threats of stabbing me with something were empty. :grumble:

    I've decided I don't care for the word 'journey' to describe what I've done to get back in shape.

    I prefer the term 'cruise'.

    I say journey because I don't plan on having an ending destination. Journey to me implies a continuing path that doesn't end.

    But I like cruise because they are fun.....though sometimes this adventure isn't so much fun!!!

    Dang it! Now I have that Journey song stuck in my head...

    Me too. There is also a 'stop' sign by my house where someone spray painted the word "Don't" above the word Stop and the word "Believin" below the word Stop...... so I get that song in my head every stinkin day.

    I think it depends on how deep one is to a degree. Its a journey for some because there are a lot of things that are being looked at. I love to see those who aren't on a journey and weight is just weight..those are cool people though.

    I think it depends on how deep one is to a degree. Its a journey for some because there are a lot of things that are being looked at. I love to see those who aren't on a journey and weight is just weight..those are cool people though.

    This is the best analogy I've seen in this thread so far.

    I also hate the word journey in reference to weightloss/fitness. I think I'll tie it into Sisyphus's curse from now on.
