Went to a new doctors office the other day and the nurse was unbelievable. She had me get on the scale and when she said the number, I started laughing. She huffed, gave me a disgusted look and asked WHAT was so funny? I told her that there was no way that was correct and could she please double check. She actually rolled her eyes and said "Please, I've heard it all 'that can't be right', 'your scale is broken', 'there's no way I weigh that much,' etc...just accept it and get over it." I looked at her and, while I secretly wanted to slap her, I said in the nicest voice I could muster "Honey, unless I've gained 36lbs since breakfast then, there's no way your scale is correct, please double check it. It's going to take you all of 30 seconds."
So, with more huffing and eye rolling, she checked it again. "Oh." was all I got. LOL. I'm sensitive enough about my weight without some witchy nurse giving me crap about it.

Then, she told me I had chronic high blood pressure. I told her no, that was incorrect. She looked at me again and said "then WHAT are you taking this medication for?" "Um...my heart rate, as in, I have tachycardia (sp)." I wanted to tack on "you idiot" to the end but I refrained.

Seriously?! Where do they find these people?
I got a good laugh out of it though:laugh:
