    Here are some tips:
    - Be realistic about your goals
    - Don't get down on yourself when you mess up, it will happen and it happens to everyone, the important thing is to be honest with yourself and get back on track
    - Some days will be harder than others, just try and be consistent, it makes things easier
    - If you don't know, ask, there are lots of friendly and helpful people here on MFP
    - Adding friends is helpful, they will cheer you on and are always pulling for you, add as many as you like =)

    definitely agree with the above poster, also don;t forgot to log your food. it's amazing how much you eat "by accident" such as when you're grating cheese and eat some while grating for example - all those calories add up if you do it all the time (I know I'm terrible for it)
