Anybody know how many calories these burn, or a website I can find out at.
My parents have one that they never use and I know I would use it, but I dont know how to calculate the calories I burn on the damn thing! Any information would be much appriciated :)

Short of an HRM, all you can do is estimate. You can use the perceived exertion test here:

    http://www.ginmiller.com/gmf06/articles/target_heart_rate/RPE_talk_test.html

but that's going to be an estimate as well. Don't go by someone else's calorie burn, it's not what your body does anyway and will be inaccurate (maybe largly)

My Gazelle has a timer on it which shows time, distance, speed, and calories burned. I know it' not as accurate as a HRM but for now it has to do for me. Time flys when you're on it!

Thanks guys, I wouldnt use it as a sole means of working out or anything so its not pivital that I have the exact level. It'd be nice to have so I can workout while watching movies and such.
