I have a handful of songs that are sappy that I listen to on occasion that reminds me of people that have been in my life and every now and again I listen to them. Really just want to see what other people listen to.

    I associate music with life... there are a lot of songs that have huge meaning for me.

    Mercedes Benz - Janis Joplin
    Natural One - Folk Implosion
    The "Island in the Sun" song by Weezer (I don't even know what it's called, but I get choked up every time I hear it)

    You know my story about Emily, my 3rd grade daughter's bff that is fighting cancer. I listen to her favorite song "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus to get through tough workouts and my dad's favorite song "My Girl" and oddly...PUMP UP THE JAM...we had to make up an aerobics routine to this song in high school and during the process my gym teacher asked me to be a mentor of a girl who was struggling with anorexia as my teacher was so proud of me for getting better.

    ~ I'm a huge music fan ( ok, lyrics fan ) and nothing is on occasion ! LOL ! :laugh: I pretty much can find a song a day to describe my feelings or how I feel about that special guy in my life ...
