I can't stand people

who can't drive. So today my hubby, the kids, my mom and I were on our way to my little cousin's birthday party and this truck is in the median and then it decides to pull out in front of me (I was in the right lane), I had no time to stop or get out of his way so I locked the brakes but I knew we were going to hit him. Well, once the wreck happened we get out of the van and we rush to open the sliding doors on the van to make sure the kids are alright and the guy comes up and asks are we all alright and at the time my collar bone is hurting me pretty bad on my left side and my mom's chest is hurtning and my mom says that she is calling the police and the guy is like no don't do that and gets in his trucks and leaves the scene. The cops are still out looking for this guy. I hope they catch him. The tow truck guy thinks the van is totatled but I really don't care about that, the most important thing is that we are all okay. I am so thankful to God right now for that.

My Gosh!!! I am so sorry. I hope you got a partial plate number at least. All's I know is he made an "accident" much worse for himself if he does get caught. What a dummy.

i sure hope that you and your family are all right!!! did you go to the Dr. to get checked out? I hope so? and I hope that they find that Dumb A**. you deserve some justice for that. I hope that you can recover from this without any lasting pain. i 'll send out a prayer to help you with your situation.

Glad to hear you are all alright. The good Lord had his eye on you. I know how traumatic accidents can be even when no one is hurt badly. Take some time for yourself and your family to just slow down and relax. I hope the man who caused this accident is caught, no doubt he had his own reasons for fleeing the scene. I hope he ends up somewhere where he will get help with his problems before someone else is hurt.
I will keep you all in my prayers and make the first one thankful.

a guy that was right there got the liscense plate number, so they are looking for the guy, they know where he lives but when they went to get him he wasn't home, but they will get him b/c they know where he lives. Yes, he made things much worse for himself.

We went to the E.R. as soon as the situation with the van was taken care of. My mom went to the hospital by ambulance, but we are fine, just sore. The kids were checked out too and they are all fine. Thanks for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Yes, I believe God had his eye on us. I was going 55 mph so there was no way I could get the van stopped. Yes accidents are tramatic, my little girl Anna was in the back seat crying and screaming, and the whole time we were at the hospital she was talking about the wreck. Oh I am going to take things easy today and do as little as I can get by with, my hubby has to work today, but I still have to take care of the kids. I hope he is caught too. I am sure there was some reason he ran off but he did make things worse for himself, not only does his insurance have to pay to have my van replaced or fixed, now he is in trouble for hit and run. I am still sore but not too bad. my collar bone was fine just bruised some.

Well, I hope he gets his. I hope the cops catch him and make him pay for what he did. It makes my blood boil too. My kids were in the van :explode: They could have got seriously hurt, then they would have been holding me back when they caught the jerk. Yes, I will take being sore any day rather than the alternative. On a better note, I love your new pic. :flowerforyou:

I know exactly how you feel, last wednesday some lady pulled over 2 lanes of traffic from a parking to get into my lane as i was going 45 miles an hour.:mad: The cop said because she was pulling out of a parking lot she was to yield to all traffic on the road so it was her fault! Now she had the balls to contact her insurance company telling them i was going "very fast" and wants me to pay for the damages to her car! I want to ask her why she pulled in front of me if I was going "very fast", what an idiot! And she also told them that the light was red and it wasnt! B!t(h!:explode:
