need to be more aware of my eating habits and binges

I'm new here. I want to get my eating binges under control. Exercise has been my savior, but I could do much better if I can limit my calorie intake. Just by writing down and being aware of what I am eating has helped me break additions. My goal is only to eat better and achive a better balance of my exercise routine.

    I am brand new to this website and I'm hooked!!! I kept track of everything I ate yesterday and I couldn't believe how quickly the calories added up. I'm so glad that I know now how much I should eat in a day. I thought I was doing all right just by winging it, but that's obviously not the case. No wonder I need to lose 40 lbs.!!

    I'm excited to take on the day and to be aware of my eating habits. I'm going to think twice now before I take a larger portion, seconds, etc.

    Also, I walk almost everyday for approx. 30 minutes. That helps burn the calories more than I thought. This is a really great website!!!

    It REALLY, REALLY IS a great site!
    All I needed to lose the weight that I so desperately wanted to lose was to see my daily numbers and work with them, (through moderation and exercise) and the weight FINALLY DID come off! (Unlike any other attempt, including hypnosis, TWICE!) :laugh:
    I LOVE how great I feel these days, now that I finally have control over my eating! I no longer hate getting my picture taken, and boy, is it ever great trying on clothes now and being able to wear much smaller things! :happy:
    I'd say good luck to you, but, with MFP, you really don't need luck. You just need to be totally honest about everything that goes into your mouth, and have some dedication and patience! :smile:
