I take all Usana products, b/c I trust them the most. Here's what I take:

    1. Multi-vitamin
    2. Coquinone (cardiovascular health)
    3. Proflavanol (Grape seed extract and Vit C...I take this more when I'm feeling run down or feel like I'm getting a cold)
    4. Calcium
    5. Biomega (Fish Oil)
    6. Procosa II (occasionally...promotes joint health)
    7. Mega AO (boosts effects of multi-vitamin)

That's about it. I don't take them all every day, but my basic everyday ones are #1, 2, 4, and 5.

GNC Multi Vitamin Vita packs for Active Women. They have the men's formula, too. I love them. I notice when I skip/forget to take them. They're a great value. And, my doctor told me they're one of the best and reccommends them.

This is what I'm taking and I feel great. I no longer need to get my nails done, because my own are long and strong, my hair is soft and growing again, adult acne is gone and my blood pressure, which was good before at 120/80 is now 110/66 that of someone 10 years younger, plus tha 5-HTP helps with the mood swings from the lack of chocolate.

    5-HTP 200mg (mood support)
Biotin 1000 mg (metabolism, hair and nails)
    Cinnamon 500mg plus Chromium (Metabolism)
Fish Oil 1000 mg (Heart Health, hair, nails and skin)
    One a Day Energy (everything)

I've been on this combination for about 5 weeks and noticed some serious changes in the last week. My doctor says it takes a month of consistant use of vitamins to reap the benefits.

just remember guys, most over the counter multivitamins have a relatively low bioavailability rating.

Bioavailability is how much of a vitamin or mineral survives the digestion process and actually makes it to the blood stream. So if a supplement claims it gives you 100% of vitamin C (for example) you could be receiving maybe 40 or 50% of that (depending on the chelating agents used) and the rest being broken down and expelled via urine. Chelating agents are compounds attached to a vitamin in the supplement to help get it past the digestion phase. Most prescription multivitamins have good chelating agents, but most OTC ones have none or very cheap, generic ones that don't do much.

What's the point of this post? Well just that while supplements are a good thing, don't believe the label, always try to use foods to get close and the multivitamins to just give you a small added boost.
