How do you log HIIT workouts?

Plain and simple.... how do you guys log HIIT? I am starting today and dont know how to log it.

i log it as cardio. usually taking the average of my highest and lowest speeds and manually input the calories burned from my HRM0

The problem with logging HIIT workouts is the majority of the calories you burn because of it will occur over the span of several hours after the workout, not during it. A Heart Rate Monitor will not be even close to accurate for this.0

I take the average speed and put in in the minutes from it (the treadmill shows average speed when I finish the program). I'm sure it is on the low end of what I actually burn.0
