Sickness

So now a week into my healthier eating and fitness plan and I have woken up with a stinking cold, tightness in my chest and a cough, a few people have mentioned it could be down to the change in diet.

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Can't see your diary. When you say 'eating healthier' are you eating fruits and vegetables?

    I'd say it's a fluke. Change of season always causes colds.

    I'm eating plenty of fruit and vegetables at least 4-6 portions a day.

    Maybe it is a fluke

    Probably not.... colds are caused by a virus so it's probably just bad luck.
    Although if you have made BIG changes or aren't eating enough, your body might not be in an ideal state to fight the bugs off.
    Usually I find that if I'm eating well and exercising I just don't get colds and bugs or if I do they go away really fast. Hopefully you will be the same!
