Help! I have gained weight this week

I have been hitting my calories at 1421 calories every day for a week ....and gone up 0.4 in weight....is this normal ? Will it settle if I hang in at this amout of calories ? Please help! Its very frustrating !!!!
Last week I uped my calories because I had hit a 3 stone weight loss MFP told me to do it! Have you done as it has told you or done your own thing and then wished you had listened....I am really after any help I can get....really fed up today !!!

i wish i had an answer for you since I have yet to up my calories for fear of gaining since I loose so very little. i would suggest that water even though you hate it, have you tried adding some crystal light or something so you could drink it? I got a big 64 oz, jug & drag it around with me and I drink a TON if water now. sometimes I add 4C green tea which is decaf and sugar free, sometime I add a orange rind.0

If you just upped your calories, it's normal to gain a little. Plus, it's very normal to vary up and down too. 0.4 pounds could very easily be water weight. I wouldn't stress it. I can lose more than that just in a good pee! LOL! So no worries. Once your body adjusts to having more calories, you'll be losing again in no time.0

.4 is not much to worry about. My weight can fluctuate about 5lbs in a week. Just keep up what you're doing for a few more weeks, and if you continue to gain then reevaluate.0

You're kidding right? I wouldn't consider less than half a pound gain as a concern at the moment...there are SO many other things that could cause your scale to be up a fraction.0

I can only suggest upping the cals. I can't see your diary (which is fine of course!) however oyu have done so well so far oyu must be doing something right.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about that. I've been stuck at the same weight for a week and a half but I am also working out I take it as muscle mass at this point. Water is probable too, and do you weigh yourself only in the morning ? that's usually your real weight.0

well guys tomorrow is weigh in, and I had a peak today ....and although I am trying to drink more water and been eating within my limits its not looking good again ....I am getting very dissapointed0

I upped my calories and last week I had gained 3 pounds but I stuck with the plan and happy to say I have lost 4 pounds this week :happy:0

My weight can fluctuate 5 lbs in 12 hours.
.4 lbs is the equavilant to less than 1 cup of water.0
