So many calories remaining, what do I do?Â

In bed and it's 11:15pm (Australian time) and I obviously can't eat 800 calories. How can I prevent having so many calories at the end of each day?

Eat smaller meals throughout the day. Eat more calorie-dense foods (nuts, nut butters, avocado, full fat dairy).0

I looked at your diary and you are eating a lot of low-cal, slim-diet-whatever foods. I'm not trying to criticise you, but if you need to add calories to your diet, don't eat low-calorie foods.0

I'm vegetarian, don't drink full cream milk, and am OBSESSED with how many calories each thing I put in my mouth is :-/0

But look at your diary... Even the protein/snack bars you have are "lite". Obsessing over calories isn't a fun or sustainable way to liveBelieve me I have been there, eating 900 calories a day... I think it would be worthwhile to look into foods that are not low-calorie but are more filling and nutritious than slimfast snack bars. Avocado, for instance, is not low-calorie but it's very dense nutritionally so it's really beneficial. If you're not low-carb, have some whole grain cereal as a snack. You are more than compensating for calories with your workouts, and you are doing an awesome job. But obsessing is self-cruelty. Make yourself a delicious protein shake in between meals and ENJOY your food

You're absolutely right. See I won't even eat normal (or wholemeal) bread, cereal or pasta anymore because of the calories. But I still get enough carbs throughout the day. Trusting that I won't gain weight just because I had a bowl of pasta is something I need to learn. See only around 2 months ago I was afraid of food altogether, I wouldn't eat for 5 days at a time because I was convinced food was the enemy. But now I have thankfully realized that your body needs fuel to function properly and what not.
I had almost 300 calories worth of muesli this morning which is awesome :-)0
