Lots of water, lean protein and fresh fruits and veggies. Your body will do the work for you without taking chemicals and pills that can be harmful.

The Fruit Flush is a 3 day program. Search Jay Robb Fruit Flush and it should come up.

The Fruit Flush diet is pretty much just clean eating with everything removed - and it is only a diet of 900-1000 calories... definately not enough to sustain anyone and provide proper nutrients. You drink a protein shake followed by a piece of fruit every two hours and than raw veggies and a small piece of protein for dinner.

"Dairy, caffeine, coffee, tea, alcohol, diet and regular sodas, starches, cooked vegetables, juices, most fats, and all sweets are prohibited." - None of this is terribly bad for you and once these items are added back in weight gain can happen.

Exercise is NOT encouraged while doing the "diet" as your body does not get enough calories to sustain itself and provide enough energy.

"The very low-calorie Fruit Flush Diet is deficient in essential fatty acids, vitamin D, B12, riboflavin, and calcium, says Joan Salge Blake, MS, RD, clinical associate nutrition professor at Boston University"

"Forget jump-starting a weight loss diet with this one- dimensional diet, and start eating healthy so you will have better success long term and start making healthy eating a habit."

"As for the idea that foods other than fruits and vegetables are a digestive burden for the body, Zied says that as long as you don’t have a digestive disorder, your body is designed to digest a wide variety of foods.

Experts say there is no need to "detox" or flush out waste, because the liver, kidneys, and colon are designed to handle that task.

Further, there is no medical evidence that fruits have ingredients capable of dissolving so-called toxins, Zied says."

All quotes above are from http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/the-fruit-flush-diet?page=3

Hopefully there's some info above and in the article to help you make an informed decision.

Research anything you choose to do... most "detoxes" are terrible for your body.
