Why I joined.

Hi! I have 2 reason why I joined MyFitnessPal.
1. A few months ago I struck up a conversation with a girl at my gym (we were both new members). She mentioned this site and told me I should sign up. I didn't listen to her then, but now 6 months later she looks amazing and I have been up and down with my fitness goals.
2. I joined a "Biggest Loser" contest at work a few weeks ago and really started watching what I eat and exercising everyday, sometimes more than once. So for my 2nd weigh in I though for sure I would be happy with the results. But I had gained 6 pounds! I was blown away. I know it is probably muscle gain as well, but I am ready to start seeing real results!
My boyfriend is on deployment for a year so exercising and taking care of myself is really helping me keep my mind off him being gone. Also, it won't hurt to be smokin hot when he gets back
I am really looking forward to taking the next step in getting myself in shape. I don't care what size clothes I wear I just want to get healthy! I am tired of making excuses.

Hey PuppyLove!! Welcome to MFP!!
My husband works offshore, and is away 3 months at a time. Working out and focusing on my new "Lifestyle Change" really helps me deal when he's away.
Good luck with all of your goals!!!0 -
