Hi everyone! I began on MFP a week ago this past Sunday and I have to admit that I have become a little obsessed with reading these forums. I am constantly learning something new and love to soak up all the information I am reading. There have been contradicting information, but all of it is supportive and informative. I had to figure out what worked for me and what made sense. I began at a 1200 calorie goal, set by MFP, but quickly learned through here that I was eating under my BMR. I have since upped my calories and make sure to eat my exercise calories back (which I love by the way...what a reward for exercising! LOL). I have lost 4 lbs so far, and I am so excited to see how I progress over the next few months. I can easily see how this is a lifestyle change and I love that I am doing it the healthy way, without restricting myself from things I love so long as they are still healthy. Thanks for all the advice everyone and I look forward to continuing my journey with all of you. Good luck to everyone!
