Jumping back on the bandwagon

I've been trying to lose weight for awhile now but this is my first time joining MFP. I had lost 16lbs but managed to put 6 back on in the last few weeks. So here I am, hoping I can stick with it again and make some progress.

A little background on me. I'm 26 yrs old, have an amazing fiancee, and the best little 18mo old son a mom could ask for. I'm a stay at home mom, my family is my life and all I care about. After having my son our house burnt down, 6 months of depression and eating out everyday caused me to gain over 25lbs. 6 months after having my son I still almost weighed the same as when I was pregnant. Sept of last year I finally got the courage to eat healthy and start exercising. I've had my ups and downs and my body seems to hate me and not want to lose even when I'm working the hardest. I'm hoping this time will be different. I plan to start jogging with my son and hope that will kick my body in gear.
