Trying not to get discouraged!

Ok last year around this time I hit a plateau. Ever since then I get discouraged easily. I have not been very consitant at maintaining my diary (aspecialy on weekends). My problem is I will see the weight coming off for a couple of weeks than I hit a plateau and I get so discouraged I dont work as hard at it. Every other month I get all serious it lasts for a couple weeks than I get discouraged (mostly because my measurements and weight are not changing). I know its my fault for not being constitant and I am trying to change that but am finding it hard to break the cycle I have put myself in.
I am feeling that way today. I know I have been a slacker and its only been a week but I got on the scale and have gained weight. Deep down I know its water weight because I have not eaten enough calories to gain 2-3 pds.

I am not going to give up but I am just really sick of this. I am doing this for my health but it would be really nice to lose 50 pounds!! I am going to keep getting my excersize in. I was eating 1400 cals untill last week when I dropped it down to 1200 cals so that I could lose more weight (I was not losing at 1400, I think I hit a plateau). I know I need to increase my excersize but am doing it slowly so that I do not aggravate my plantar faciitis.
Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated I am feeling down today!!!
