Thanks Ex-Smokers

I HAD been a smoker for 18 years, and always wanted to quit. Like many I had tried several times but never made it much past day 3. I recently read a post from someone who was asking for advice on quiting. Several people's advice was to read the book "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking" and the phone app Quit Now. I want to send a sincere THANK YOU to those people, I have been smoke FREE for 7 days and counting. I did read the book 3 times(in 2 weeks) to pick my time and make sure that I had everything clear in my head, but then I stopped and that was that.

Again I just want to Thank everyone for the Great Advice, and hope that now I can encourage someone to do the same.

i have never read this book, but i just wanted to comment that it's so great you have decided to quit smoking and a whole week without a cigarette is a great accomplishment! in time it will get easier. i am 2 and 1/2 years quit as of now, after smoking for 10 years. Feeling wonderful and have not have one respiratory infection since quitting. Stick with it, you know you can!

Best of luck! It's not easy. I'm 7 1/2 years smoke free and I know I'd pick one up if offered.

YAY! The book is so obvious yet helps so many people click into 'this is it for real' somehow.
