I was completely shocked when I found out how many calories Nyquil and Dayquil have!! I'm feeling like crap and it doesn't help when I have to fill up my Snack spot with cold medicine. Grrr.

93 calories per 2 Tablespoons. In case anyone was wondering.

I don't know about you but when I've got a cold my appetite tends to go down the drain, I wouldn't worry too much about the sugar they put in to make the syrup palatable.

Those medicines don't work for me, so I usually just suffer through the cold. If it works, the cold medicine is more important than the calories, IMHO. That said, have you looked into the caplets instead of the liquid?

I went out and bought cold medicine caplets. Nyquil and Dayquil in liquid form works wonders for me...but I'm not willing to waste the calories. So here's hoping Comtrex works.
