Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

Hello everyone! I am new here and just had a quick question. I did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred last year and had fabulous results. My arms had more muscle and definition and I felt so great! I want to start it up again since I have gained a little winter weight. Just wondering, how do you guys enter it in the exercise portion? Do I do strength training? Or some cardio & strength training? I just want to track the most accurately that I can and am totally confused! Thanks in advance for your help. :)
