Hi all,
I am trying to drink 8 glasses of water/day, but I'm not the biggest fan of unflavored drinks Could I count my cup of tea or coffee in the morning as a glass of water? What else do you guys count as "water" (if at all)?

One to two cups of coffee or tea should be fine to count as water intake (I don't think caffeine acts as a diuretic at low amounts, someone please correct me if this is wrong).
You could also try herbal teas or flavored seltzer water (no sugar/sweetener, just carbonated water and natural flavor). I like plain water and still drink a bottle of seltzer most days because I like it and keeps me from getting bored with just plain water.0 -
Try infusing slices of cucumber in water, or put a lemon slice in your water.
I love cucumber water. I'll slice up a cucumber, put it in a pitcher and/or giant mason jar, and then fill the pitcher with water. Let it seep for a while. You'll have fresh tasting water and it goes down easier than plain water.
If you don't like cucumber you can do this with fruits, too. Berries, limes, lemons, etc. You can play around with making small jars of water (like a pint sized mason jar) to find out what works for you.
During the summer I drink a lot of slow-brewed rooibos or green iced tea. The rooibos is naturally caffeine free (I usually a flavored rooibus from Teavana or Stash), and the green tea does have caffeine. If you choose the right tea you won't need to sweeten it.
Last of all, I sometimes put a little bit of cranberry juice in water when I need to drink but am struggling with plain water.0 -
I second the seltzer suggestion! I love my water, but I always mix it up with flavored seltzers throughout the day. The carbonation helps me miss soda less, hah!0
