Emotion Eater....

I am what i cal; an 'emotion eater' when im fed up, sad, worried all i do is eat. I dont even realise sometimes i am doing it. I will just pick up a biscuit or some chocolate.... I want to change my train of thought but dont know where to start....

Any ideas?

    Log everything. That helps a lot if you have to count just how much chocolate you ate.

    Planning your meals and the calories you have to consume can help as well.

    After an emotional eating session, try not to get frustrated and down on yourself, but instead look objectively at what caused the eating. What triggered it. Then work on recognizing that trigger so that you don't emotionally eat in the future.

    You might want to look up Mindful Eating techniques. Those can help you change your eating habits and your mindset toward eating.
