Nutrition advice for my 5k

So I'm running my first 5k in May. I've never in my life been a runner so I don't know too much. What is good to eat the night before my run and also the next day? I'm running 3 times a week now to get ready for it. What do you suggest? I don't like how I feel after I eat heavy food with carbs.

    There is no need to change your eating for a 5k. It is really only marathons and half-marathons that need the pasta and high carbs the night before.

    Just stick to you rnormal eating, eat two hours before your run, do not run on a full stomach. You will be absolutely fine x
